... another way of diving

About me

I’m 45 years old, have a degree in Liberal Arts with a thesis in Modern History and specialization in Cultural Heritage but, despite my studies,  I have always had a strong passion for the sea and everything concerning it.

I have been diving for 16 years, since 1994 when I obtained my first FIPSAS-CMAS certificate. Since then I have gone through my scuba diving career within the federation until obtaining the instructor 3rd level certificate. Presently I am in charge of the FIPSAS-CMAS Didactic Sector for Diving of the province of Pordenone.

In 2000 I began to approach DIR diving, obligatory stage in order to enter the world of technical diving

I am a Tek 2 UTRTek Staff Instructor.

I am a UTD Trainer , Technical and Side-Mount Instructor. While covering this American Didactics, I had as a trainer Andrew Georgitis, the first to have perfectioned the DIR/Hogarthian educational system and have spread Minimum Ratio Deco , the “on the fly” decompression system.

I am a DAN BLS FIPSAS instructor.

In my free time I love jogging and travelling to places where I can go diving.

My great passion for the Maldives and its extraordinary current dives one can experience have driver me to writing a book  “Immersione in corrente” (Current Diving).

I am presently the School Director for the diving association, Centro Pordenonese Sommozzatori, whose state-of-the-art refilling station for binary and ternary mixes and multimedia meeting room have made it become very useful for logistics support in carrying out diving courses.
